The third group of players in Meath Ladies All Ireland Finalists.
First up we have Shelly Melia. Shelly hails from the Dunboyne club. Shelly has been playing football since underage with Dunboyne. She made her Adult county debut in 2013 against Laois. Shelly was also part of her clubs all Ireland winning adventures when they won the All Ireland Junior Club Championship in 2015 and the Intermediate Club Championship in 2017. Shelly is still a student and was part of the NFL winning team in 2019.
Clann na nGaels sole representative is Orlagh Lally. Orlagh has being playing football now for a long number of years despite still being only 18. Orlagh also represented Ireland at swimming. She quickly established herself as one of the toughest players around. Orlagh made her adult debut in 2018 against Down and was part of the Leinster title winning team in 2018. Orlagh also was part of the NFL winning team this year.
Ann Marie Moffatt or Annie as she is affectionately known is another Dunboyne player. Annie made her debut in 2019 against Sligo. Annie was captain of the Dunboyne Club when they lifted the Leinster and All Ireland Championship cup in 2017. She was also part of the Junior All Ireland team in 2015. Annie Moffatt is a HR Business Partner by trade!
Finally Emma Duggan. Emma has been a county player since she was under 12. She has picked up several titles in her short career and in 2019 burst on to the Adult scene. A thorn in many a defenders side. Emma was named as Player of the Match in the TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate semi-final against Roscommon, she also picked up the WGPA Player of the Month award for August. Not to be done with that she has also earned herself The Croke Park / LGFA Player of the Month for August.
