Junior C Player of the Year

The Junior C Player of the Year for 2018 is Ciara Brady of Gaeil Colmcille in Kells. Ciara received the most votes via the opposition managers throughout the Championship! A well deserved award. Meath Ladies Team of the Year

Simonstown had the honour of picking up the Team of the Year for 2018. They won their first ever Senior Championship as well as the Division 1 Adult League. Captain Niamh Sheridan was on hand to pick up the award!

Club of the Year!

Clonard LGFA had the distinction of being named as Club of the Year for 2018. Clonard are a relatively new club and have had many achievements in the last two years especially at underage level. Meath Ladies Presentation Night!

The All Ireland Final and LIDL Division 3 Runners up who received their medals on Saturday night. Meath Ladies Presentation Night!

Meath Ladies Presentation Night was held on Saturday January 26th in the Newgrange Hotel in Navan. A crowd of over 250 people were present on the night to see the cream of Meath Ladies Football presented with various awards. Leinster Council President Dominic Leech was one of the guests of honour and he presented our Minor footballers with their Leinster Medals.

Meath v Sligo Rd 1 NFL

The LIDL National Football League is BACK! So dust off the winter woolies and the wellies as it looks like it will be a very cold start to the league campaign! The team will travel to Sligo on SATURDAY. There is a weather warning in place from Tuesday for snow and ice so keep a check on this page for any updates re the game. Captain for 2019

Meath LGFA are delighted to announce that Donaghmore/Ashbournes Maire O’Shaughnessy is to be captain of the Meath Ladies side for 2019 season. Na Fiannas Shauna Ennis has been named as vice captain. Both players have been around the county scene for a number of years now at both underage and adult level and this is just reward for all their hard work at both club and county.
