County Player Awards

The Minor County Player of the Year went to Aedin Slattery of Na Fianna. Unfortunately Aedin was not able to attend the presentation. The Senior Young County Player of the Year went to Clann na nGaels Orlagh Lally. Megan Thynne picked up her second award of the evening when she was announced as Senior County Player of the Year. What a year for all three girls. Aedin Orlagh and Megan – Well done ladies!

Special Achievement Award

Three of Meath Ladies Club all won their respective finals earlier in the year when the Feile bandwagon rolled into Meath. The Annual Feile na nOg was held in Meath, Louth and Down. First up is Walterstown U14 Feile team who won the Division 1 Shield Final. Not to be out done Trim also won the Division 3 Shield. Club Person of the Year

One of Moylaghs and Meath Ladies longest serving members was recognised for his many achievements in his club and throughout the county when he was presented with Club Person of the Year. Ollie has been involved in just about every team in Moylagh throughout his career! One of Ladies footballs great characters and gentlemen! Congrats Ollie a well deserved award! He was presented with his award by Colm McManus!

Hall of Fame Award

One of the highlights of the night was the introduction of the 1994 All Ireland winning team. They got a rousing cheer from all in the room. It was great to have them as guests on this occasion. They were inducted into the Meath Ladies Football Hall of Fame. The cast of 1994. Rising Star award

This is by far the most competitive and difficult category of them all. There are so many talented young players out there that we could easily have picked 66 players. The eventual nominees were Meadhbh Byrne Royal Gaels, Emma Duggan Dunboyne Orla Finnegan Seneschalstown Aisling McCabe Summerhill, Zoe Matthews Rathkenny and eventual winner Nicole Smith of Oldcastle.
