Rising Star award

This is by far the most competitive and difficult category of them all. There are so many talented young players out there that we could easily have picked 66 players. The eventual nominees were Meadhbh Byrne Royal Gaels, Emma Duggan Dunboyne Orla Finnegan Seneschalstown Aisling McCabe Summerhill, Zoe Matthews Rathkenny and eventual winner Nicole Smith of Oldcastle. All of the girls had outstanding year both at club and county level. They are a credit to themselves, their families, clubs and county. Senior Player of the Year

One of the toughest categories to win! All players once again were given the votes of the opposition managers in every round of the championship! Intermediate Player of the Year

Junior C Player of the Year

The Junior C Player of the Year for 2018 is Ciara Brady of Gaeil Colmcille in Kells. Ciara received the most votes via the opposition managers throughout the Championship! A well deserved award. Meath Ladies Team of the Year

Simonstown had the honour of picking up the Team of the Year for 2018. They won their first ever Senior Championship as well as the Division 1 Adult League. Captain Niamh Sheridan was on hand to pick up the award!

Club of the Year!

Clonard LGFA had the distinction of being named as Club of the Year for 2018. Clonard are a relatively new club and have had many achievements in the last two years especially at underage level. Meath Ladies Presentation Night!

Meath Ladies Presentation Night!

Meath Ladies Presentation Night was held on Saturday January 26th in the Newgrange Hotel in Navan. A crowd of over 250 people were present on the night to see the cream of Meath Ladies Football presented with various awards. Leinster Council President Dominic Leech was one of the guests of honour and he presented our Minor footballers with their Leinster Medals.
