Meath LGFA Presentation Night

  Meath Ladies Annual Presentation Night takes place on Saturday November 2nd in The Newgrange Hotel in Navan. Proceedings get under way around 7.30pm. Please come early as a large crowd is expected on the night. All winners will be announced on the night! There are several categories to be announced. All Player of the Year awards have been voted for by the Managers/Mentors of the various clubs throughout the Championship year. There are just two more people to mention for the big day tomorrow. Hayley Clarke and Derek Fitzsimons. Everyone at this stage knows Hayley. She has been the team physio now for a few years. Hayley also helps out some of the underage Meath ladies teams. So she is usually kept fairly busy. Niamh Gallogly or NiamhyG as everyone calls her is a member of the Royal Gaels club in Dunshaughlin. NiamhyG made her adult county debut in 2016 against Sligo and has worked extremely hard over the last number of years. Niamh is one of those players you need to watch constantly as playing on the half back line she will often appear right up in front of goals scoring the odd point. Bridgetta Lynch made her county debut in 2011 against Waterford. Jetta as she is known far and wide played underage football and has an All Ireland U16 title from 2009. Coincidentally Eamon Murray was the manager of that team also. Maybe a good omen for Sunday! Jetta plays her club football with Oldcastle and was part of the Oldcastle team that won their first senior Championship in 2017.
