Senior Champ Final

The Masita Meath Ladies Senior Championship Final takes place on Saturday October 13th in Ashbourne GAA Club. Throw in there is 4pm.

Seneschalstown v Simonstown

Simonstown Ladies have been hovering for the last couple of years and narrowly missed out in 2017 on a semi-final spot. Seneschalstown on the other hand struggled to stay up in the senior ranks but they narrowly missed the drop to Intermediate.

On to 2018 and Simonstown have been solid both in attack and defence all year in both league and championship. It is no surprise to anyone that the NSB girls are in their first ever Senior Championship Final. A great mix of youth and experience on this team.

Seneschalstown on the other hand struggled at the start of the year and were probably odds on to be relegated. But, with a lot of hard work and determination they have found themselves in another Senior Championship Final. They also have a blend of youth and experience in the panel.

Simonstown will probably be favourites to lift the senior championship cup but the girls from Seneschalstown are not just here to make up the numbers thats for sure.

Its going to be a cracker of a final.

Make sure you get to Ashbourne for 4pm on Saturday. Entry is €10 with OAPs and Students €5. Under 16s are free into the game.

The best of luck to both teams.
